Honest review of a honest dealership.
Eugen's, and more importantly Pete, are honest. The dealership as a whole is honest. Since that's unfortunately not the first thing you think of when buying a car, it's important to note. We were down a perpetual rabbit hole of online searches and pointless test drives trying to find a Wrangler that made sense for us. We came across the vehicle we ultimately ended up purchasing from Eugen's and from the day we began inquiring to the day we drove off the lot, we felt zero pressure. Z-e-r-o. Separately of that, the correspondence, paperwork and guidance were concise and professional. Pete's staff, especially Saeed, work in tandem with the mission of the dealership and emulate those values in every exchange. I don't think many dealerships like Eugen's exist. We're so glad we found the right Wrangler with Pete because now we know future deals are his and we're in good hands which takes so much stress out of the entire process.

Great Experience
I had a great experience here! The sales guy let me drive the car to my mechanic to get it checked out and when I decided not to take the 1st car he let me take another one to the mechanic. He was really nice and helpful. The tag guy was so funny and sweet too. Most of all I LOVE my car. It rides great is clean and GREAT price! Highly recommend! Thank you!

I don’t often leave reviews but Eugen’s auto took great care of my vehicle and Service manager Chris was on point, kept me updated along the way of repairs and got my car back to me on time. Pete and Mike are the best! Very helpful and friendly. A lot full of beautiful cars. They don't oversell you, they want to make sure you get into something in good condition and affordable. They make you feel like extended family. My next car will be from them, but with the great car I just brought from them it may be a while!

Great mechanics, great service. Chris was right on with his diagnosis. He actually finished the repairs quicker than he promised. The quoted price was exactly as stated. Not like some places where they quote you a price and then add all the incidentals and shop costs to boast the price another hundred bucks. Very happy with the sevice. I will be back.

I would recommend this shop to anyone and everyone because i took my car to 3 different shops and none of them could figure out what was wrong with my car but when i took it to eugens auto the lead tech chris was able to pinpoint the short in my wiring and fix it the same day !

I was saddened when I heard Eugene sold the shop, my sons and I have been his customers for about 25 years. Eugene and Mike had always given great customer service. After meeting Pete and dealing with Chris, I believe the professional customer service and quality workmanship upheld by Eugene, will continue with them. Listen, Eugen's Auto is the place to go if you need car service. The mechanics are GREAT! Chris & Mike have extensive knowledge about any vehicle that comes through. My 2009 Buick needed a motor mount. They not only found the mount, but put the part in the same day. CLUTCH! And they didn't kill me with repair charges. Go check them out.

Multiple shops and almost a thousand dollars later I was feeling hopeless no one would be able to figure out the issue with my bmw- dealer is always over priced and never an option for me. Finally I found eugenes auto and I had some hope I may get my car back in order after speaking with Chris, he seemed very knowledgeable and upfront. My hope paid off and in a day Chris figured it out and told me he would call me in the morning with a price since most part places were closed for the day. He kept his promise, gave me a reasonable price, kept me updated, and actually fixed the problem other shops couldn’t even figure out! Hopefully my car will not need major service again but if it does I’ll be sure to see Chris! Thank you Chris and Eugenes Auto! I will be sure to recommend to everyone I know and will be back for regular maintenance on the bmw!

I have been going to Eugen’s Autos for repairs and routine maintenance, never had a problem with the work or service they provide. Honestly hearing about Eugen’s retirement and New ownership I was worried about not having the same Five star service but today I was set to the peace of mind knowing that Chris, Mike and the other awesome mechanics are still there to offer their great service. If the name changes later on, just know it’s still going to be the Five plus stars Service you been getting for years. Thank you guys for keeping myself and family safely on the road.

Great place to take your car for service. You don’t see too many honest people in this business, but the new owner Pete and the head tech Chris are about as straight up as you can get. Can’t wait to start buying cars from them. I guarantee I’ll never have to worry about any car I buy from them!!

They figured out what was wrong with my car and gave me a price and a time frame it was gonna take. And Chris kept all those promises! I had a issue with my car not holding coolant so I called Eugens and talked to Chris last week. I told him I would have it towed to the shop later on in the day. He called to explain the issue to me and how much it would be. There prices are great considering the great work Chris puts into my car cause this ain't my first time at Eugene's. The next day the part came and he put it on and called me I'm so thankful for Chris at Eugene's for getting my car back to me so soon, and it's running great.

I had my BMW 5 series towed in to Eugen’s auto for a no start issue that I’ve had for a little while now. And Chris the service manager kept me updated from the start. Figured the problem out the same day and had me back on the road. The prices are very fair. The new management is great. Would recommend to everybody I know. Thank you Chris and Thanks Pete!

Great Service
I had my car towed to Eugene Auto and Chris my mechanic called the next day to tell me the issue and that as soon as the part was in he would put put it on so I could get back on the road and the next morning it was delivered and by 10am he called to tell me it was ready couldn't be happier with his service and its not my first time goin there so I always talk to Chris cause I know it will be fast and the great service won't go any were else and would recommend it to any of my friends and family.

I have been going to Eugen's for many years and have been very fortunate to have such a trustworthy and honest establishment like theirs when it comes to buying a car or servicing them. The new owner Pete has been doing an amazing job continuing the legacy of this place. I own a few classic BMWs and Porsches that Chris services. Every time I drop one off for service, I know the problem will be addressed and in a timely manner. It's also hard to find a talented mechanic that can work on classic cars since you can't simply hook up a computer to diagnose the problem. Keep up the great work guys! Looking forward to my next oil change.

After shopping around for a major repair on my car I’m so happy I went with Eugene’s Auto Repair! The manager Chris was great with explaining his diagnosis and repair recommendations. Even better they were the most affordable and kept in touch with part arrivals and where they where at on the job. Truly the first shop I’ve been to where I didn’t feel I was getting the run around because I am a woman. 10/10 Recommend!

I took my 2012 BMW 535 to Eugene's after reading all the wonderful reviews for inspection that was due. The new owner Pete and shop manager Chris were a joy to deal with and instantly made me feel like part of the family. The atmosphere was positive and welcoming. What a nice family place to take your car to. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great local shop.

This place has amazing mechanics. I always take my cars to be worked on here. Chris always takes care of me and I'm never disappointed. He's a great mechanic. I loved Eugene, he always took my calls, but the new management is very welcoming. They offer me donuts and coffee when I get there. I'll continue to take my cars here and would highly recommend them.

Chris and mike fixed my car under new management with Pete !! Stop by and get your repairs done here I usually don’t recommend but they are to talk to got right to the source smiling faces and a quick wonderful job well done I had a 2010 Nissan Altima 2.5 s . They did an amazing job called me right on time to pick up the car even offered to check for other problems and issues with a DEAL U CANT DENY . Eugen's Auto is a great place for all your car needs. I've bought 2 cars from them and have all my vehicles serviced there as well. PA State inspections too. Chris is a great guy who does professional work and always treats me with respect. Chris gets the job done right, the first time and treats us like family. He's a top flight mechanic and he should be your mechanic too. I highly recommend Chris and Eugen's Auto. If you're not using them you're missing out on a great experience.

First off I would like to thank both Mike and Eugen for the utmost kindness and professionalism, both gentleman know how to be real but grounded. I bought my first car from Eugen’s (on my own anyway), the car I've wanted since I was able to drive. Mike worked with me through everything, answering all 100 of my questions with realism and professionalism. We had some hiccups with paperwork, FedEx, etc. but he understood and knew the passion I had for this car and worked with me to get the keys into my hands. I would strongly recommend buying a car here! After walking out of several other dealerships I bought a 2012 with 90k miles here. The car was a gem, exactly as described. The experience as a whole couldn't have been better. Mike, who handles the sales was helpful, nice, acomidating, honest and fair. Above & Beyond
My experience with this dealership has been so fantastic, it almost doesn't seem real. The bulk of my experience was working with Michael, though, Eugene was also great to deal with. They managed to turn a very unpleasant situation into one of those rare reminders that there are still genuinely good people with integrity out there who are willing to do the right thing (at huge personal inconvenience & expense) simply because it's the right thing. I originally found Eugens Auto on Cargurus when I was searching for a used midsized luxury SUV. Even though they're located close to 90 minutes from my home, their reviews were great & that meant a lot to me in choosing where to buy the vehicle. Michael & Eugene were friendly & helpful to work with - I loved the car - it drove beautifully, had all kinds of bells & whistles & it was exactly what I was looking for. I was delighted driving it home....but, then, it started acting up about 2 weeks after I bought it. At first it was just "German car stuff" - the check engine light came on - it would beep now & then complaining it couldn't feel it's wheels, just nuisances - but, it escalated to some more sinister things that were starting to make me nervous. I reported the issues to Michael & he told me to bring it back for their mechanics to look at it right away. I did & a few days later, I drove off the lot again with the car feeling great...until it did the same thing a few weeks after that...back to the dealership...all better...more problems a few weeks later - until, finally, I was left on the side of the road with nothing but the windshield wipers functioning...& those wouldn't turn off. So, it made the trip back to Eugen's on a flatbed one more time. I was upset, obviously, but also worried about how this was going to be handled. I'd had the car well past 30 days &, I was concerned about what would happen next. I won't bore you with the specifics - but, over the course of the next few weeks, these guys did EVERYTHING they could to fix the car, including finally taking it's to the german car dealership of origination where it underwent massive diagnostics, engine repairs & even had an entirely new computer installed - all at their expense...&, it was A LOT of expense. From the start, they were totally transparent about the work being done - both at their place & at the luxury dealership. They showed me everything (& encouraged me to call to talk to the mechanics who were working on it directly if I had any questions). I'm confident that there was no way of knowing what a disaster the car was prior to my purchase -from my extremely limited understanding, most of it's problems wound up being obscure & deep in the engine - even the specialty mechanics at the luxury dealership with their diagnostic computers weren't able to find the exact problem or get it resolved. Even though the original car was a loss, there's a happy ending. As soon as it became clear that the original car was beyond repair, Michael made it easy for me to switch to an even nicer car they'd just gotten on the lot (which is probably my favorite car ever & has been running perfectly for the several months I've had it). He even talked to my finance company & got me a better interest rate on the new loan. I am extremely impressed with how well this all turned out - certainly the polar opposite of stereotypical "used car salesmen" conduct - I really can't say enough good things. I'm so glad that I listened to the other positive reviews & did business with them in the first place (I don't even want to think about what a nightmare this could have been with less scrupulous people). I encourage you to listen to this one & do the same.

Happy Second time buyer
I bought my first car from Eugen's in 2016 with about as much hesitation as any person going to a used car dealer. I was very unsettled initially hoping and praying that I was able to get the best car, and value for my money. Turns out, the experience was very smooth and hassle free. Mike explained everything to me, made sure I was satisfied with the numbers and the car, and assured me if anything went wrong they were there to help. Nothing went wrong, and the car ran great with no problems. I recent purchased another car from Eugen's and once again I am very satisfied. So nice to have a place that still has a focus on good service and ensures your satisfaction. You feel like more than just a sale, which makes a big difference. The next car I purchase I will definelty come back to Eugen's!

Being that this was my first time buying a car on my own, learning the buying process, insurance process & everything else that comes with buying a car, I was filled with anxiety! From the very first moment I spoke with them on the phone I felt extremely comfortable. It was explained to me they don't sell junk and will only put you in a car that I really wanted. Excellent customer service has Almost become a thing of the past, along with the loss of the human component. However, Eugene and Michael actually go Above and Beyond the call of duty and provide outstanding customer service. They have always put my family and I first, in fact we have been customers for nearly 20 years and have just purchased our 6th car from them. When my son said mom "I need a new car but I don't think I can afford it", my response was two words "Call Michael" because I know he will make it happen with care. When the car is not performing correctly "Call Eugene", he'll fix it, no worries, simple, easy, and quality car service. We are customers for life, thank you Eugene and Michael, "The Dynamic Duo".

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Eugen's for any needed repairs or work. I brought my car to Eugen's after getting a laundry list of repairs from another shop when I just needed an inspection. Eugen was very kind and honest as he reviewed the list of repairs the other shop said I needed, reviewed with his mechanic, and put it up on the lift. The mechanic confirmed that there were no repairs needed on my car and Eugen was able to pass my car for inspection. I'll definitely be returning to Eugen's for any future work! THANK YOU!

Eugen and his team were fantastic! Eugen was very knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on several different car makes. Best cars you can find !!
I recently bought my first car, i was in a hunt for a long time to buy a good car nothing was reliable and any dealership that i would go to either the cars were not good or the prople were akward! Finally i went to EUGENS AUTO and not only i got out of of there with a great car but also i got the best service i could ever ask for !! I bought a Mercedes Benz C300 2010 version with 56,000 miles on it no accidents clean car almost brand new!! The car is fenomenal so are the people there, they do their best to help you and they truly sell the best cars !!! I recommend everyone that is trying to buy a car to visit EUGENS AUTO!!! Thanks Eugene's auto sales. Mike was the best and made me believe in people again. I called and said I needed a vehicle and he said come on in and we will see what we can get you into. He was very honest and stood by his word. He let me pick the vehicle I wanted, not what he wanted me to have. I went in late Saturday evening so he was limited on how much he could help me, but I was driving away in my new 2011 Mazda CX-7 Monday. I brought a fully loaded 2012 Nissan Maxima and I am very, very, very happy. I absolutely love my car!!! It's clean, low mileage, and looks and run great! My credit is not the best and Eugen's was still able to assist me with an affordable payment. Also my experience with the entire staff was absolutely wonderful! Everybody was nice, patient, thoughtful, and caring. Usually I spend hours at a car dealership and I dread the process but I was not there long at all! My husband and I were specifically looking for an Acura TL for himself. We came across Eugens inventory and found one he was interested in. Upon our arrival, it took minutes to be approved and the customer service was spectacular. We inspected the vehicle and they were even kind enough to place the car on the lift to inspect under the car! Out of all the dealers we ever visited, Eugens was the only ones who done that for us! Loved the employees there and will recommend this professional dealership to all of our friends and family. When I am ready for my new car, Eugen will be my first choice! It's very hard to find a honest and trustworthy mechanic. I had an old car that no one could fix and was told to take it to Eugen's Auto Sales & Repairs. They were able to complete the repairs timely and very reasonable! Once it was time to get a new car, I had no hesitation about going here to see what they had. All modern vehicles, with up to date specs on each one! Drove off the lot the same day, no more SEPTA! Thanks.....

I stumbled upon Eugen's and when I called I was promptly received by Mike. Mike has been the most up front salesmen I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Mike represented himself and the vehicle was full honesty and integrity. I've also never seen a harder worker for the "people" than Mike. I initially liked the vehicle but what sold me on the deal was not only Mike's hard work but the fact that he stood fully behind the car and reinforced my belief that I was purchasing a solid, quality car at a great and more than fair price. I just purchased a 2012 Infiniti G37x from Eugens. Mike made the buying process easy and actually enjoyable. I had been looking for this model ,year and color for sometime and Mike worked with me and I finally got it. No pressure or salesmanship. Best deal I have had in years
May 2014 I purchased a Ford F150 pick up truck. The body and interior was mint. The truck runs great nd has not given me one day of trouble. The spare tire is new. I returned May 2015 for inspection and the truck only needed was a tune-up. Eugen, thanks for a great deal. Bob

Outstanding Service and Vehicle
This was the first stop in looking at purchasing one of the three possible vehicles I had on my list. I was hoping that I wouldn't have to look at anymore cars, as I researched Eugen's Auto Sales and the Carfax on the car. The reviews/research proved very accurate and I am extremely glad I purchased my 2002 Lexus RX300 with only 71,000 verified miles from them! Mike has been in the business for over 30 years and since they also service and repair vehicles, he was extremely knowledgeable about all types of vehicles, including this Lexus. Now, in fairness, the Lexus was the exact same year and model that the owner's wife drove (I met her and saw her car), so they had a lot of experience on that particular model. In order for them to provide their 3 month 3,500 basic warranty, they have a complete checklist of items that they certify and service, if needed. They also changed the oil, filter, etc. The list is very impressive! As I said, since they are a service center as well, I was able to put the car up on the lift and look at all the seals, exhaust system, engine area, etc. for wear and any possible leaks. The vehicle was completely dry and looked good. As it had snowed and crazy cold, then warm weather, an O-2 sensor went bad that caused a check engine light at the start of our test drive. They took the car into the service area, put it on the computer, found the problematic O-2 sensor and installed a new one very quickly that same day while I waited. I got the car at a very fair price and the best thing of all, no games, no extra little nickel and dime charges. No hassle transaction! The next day, I took the vehicle to a local Lexus Dealer to get their recommendation for any additional service items (decided to change the differential fluids, brake fluid, and cabin air-filter). They had to look REALLY hard to find anything that might be a concern in the distant future. The service manager said it was a great car and it was a really good deal! As I plan to keep this for another 100,000+ miles, and I often travel 15 hour drives (950 miles each way), I wanted to make sure there were no surprises, which there were none. I looked at every body panel for the original Lexus stickers, tried all the electrical options, and looked for any non-original paint, all being as advertised and expected. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a quality vehicle and if I am in the area again, will consider them for service as needed.
